With the e3000X, you expand your possibilities and rely on respiratory protection of the highest safety class (TH3). The system provides reliable protection against smoke, aerosols and dust – and is also available with an A1B1E1 gas filter.

Thanks to automatic air flow control, an optional activated carbon odour filter and ATEX Zone 2 and 22 certification, you are perfectly equipped for any working environment. Maximum safety, full flexibility and clean air – no matter where you work.

Note: The optrel e3000X breathing system must NOT be used in environments where there is an immediate danger to health or life (IDLH), in atmospheres with less than 17% oxygen (Europe) or where the concentration of toxic substances is so high that a higher protection class is required. It is NOT rated as an ignition source in flammable or explosive atmospheres.

✅ Top-Class Respiratory Protection – TH3
During arc welding, grinding, and many other dust-intensive tasks or work in contaminated environments, your respiratory system is constantly exposed to harmful smoke, dust, and often toxic gases. Wearing a personal respiratory protection system is therefore essential, no matter how well-ventilated your work environment may be.

For this reason, the new e3000X offers you a comfortable and highly modular respiratory protection solution that you can adjust to your protection requirements in seconds.

99.8% purified air for optimal protection.

Compared to commonly available TH2 systems, TH3-certified respiratory protection systems filter 10 times more dirt from the air, or in other words: 99.8% of harmful particles are removed from the air. Because clean air is a rare commodity nowadays.

✅ ATEX Zone 2 and 22 Certified
ATEX stands for "ATmosphere EXplosible" and refers to the safety of devices and systems, such as the e3000X powered respiratory protection system. ATEX-certified devices and systems must be used whenever explosive atmospheres may occur.

Explosive atmospheres occur when materials such as gases, vapors, or dust reach a concentration that can cause an explosion when combined with air or oxygen. Causes of explosive atmospheres include natural processes, industrial activities, or human error. Explosive atmospheres mostly occur indoors, but also outdoors, for example in mines.

Examples of explosion-prone materials include:

• Flammable gases such as methane, propane, butane
• Flammable vapors such as gasoline, diesel, alcohol
• Flammable dusts such as wood, metal, or plastic dust

There is always a reason for using powered respiratory protection with ATEX Zone 2 and 22 certification. However, if your safety officer, legal regulations in your country, or your industry require ATEX-certified devices, you must verify whether a device for Zone 2 and 22 is sufficient.

✅ Fresh Air – Where You Need It
optrel consistently focuses on avoiding any air turbulence inside the helmet that could irritate your eyes. The purified air is directed through an internal airflow channel straight to your mouth and nose. That's where – and only where – the valuable breathing air is needed. Additionally, we have also considered comfortable cooling. In the forehead area, a continuously adjustable air outlet allows up to 20% of the air to flow onto your forehead. Pleasantly gentle! Eye irritation impossible!
